Charlie Clinton for Holborn & St Pancras

Fix Politics, Fix Britain, Fix the Planet.

Our country needs change - and it needs hope.  I’m standing for Holborn & St Pancras because I believe we can create a brighter future for everyone if we:

  1. Fix Politics: One of the most common complaints I hear is that politics is broken. People tell us that their vote doesn’t count, they can’t vote how they want, don’t feel represented, and that politicians can’t be trusted.  We need to fix this before we can progress as a country - or our future will continue to be determined by the minority.  Keir Starmer has acknowledged the problem - but he refuses to commit to a solution.

  2. Fix Britain: To rebuild Britain we need meet the needs of all the people that make up our nation. Economic growth for the sake of growth might give investors confidence, but it doesn't mean anything if people still can't afford to eat, can't get access to health care, don't have a safe home, or are not getting an education fit for the 21st century. We need a society that works for all in order to maximise our long term potential.

  3. Fix the Planet: As we fix the country, we must also transition to Net Zero. These goals are not incompatible.  Cutting pollution, reducing waste and restoring nature will all help to mitigate the impact of climate change - but they will also improve our energy security, reduce household costs, and improve our health - taking pressure off public services & government spending.
