Labour U-Turn in panic on Kentish Town Baths

10.09.15am GMT Fri 10th Feb 2006

Speaking in response to the news that Labour are trying to stitch together a plan to keep Kentish Town Baths open Liberal Democrat Group Leader Cllr Keith Moffitt said "We {Liberal Democrats} have been in discussions with officers ourselves to find a way to keep the baths. it is remarkable given that at a recent public meeting on the baths Labour councillors were treating members of the public with such contempt over the issue - and here they are doing a U-turn so soon after."

More and more people are saying that they will not be voting Labour in May's local elections here in Camden over the way Labour have behaved over the issue of Kentish Town Baths.
