A Service of Thanksgiving for the life and work of Professor Earl (Conrad) Russell, will be held in St Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey at Noon on Tuesday 14 June 2005. Conrad was much respected campaigner and President of London Liberal Democrats, as well as being Liberal Democrat Spokesperson on Social Security in the House of Lords, and a member of Federal Policy Committee for a number of years.

The service is open to anyone who would like to attend. Because of security concerns Westminster Abbey have asked people to write in for tickets. Please write, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope, to: Mr. S J Holmes, Room 14, The Chapter Office, 20 Dean's Yard, London, SW1P 3PA.
