Every vote will Count

Ed Fordham has spoken out about how close the election will be. Ed says "I can genuinely say that we are fighting this election to win and that we can beat Labour.

"I am shocked at how the Conservative campaign has been very poor, last time their share of the vote went down and a leaflet from Glenda Jackson confessed that we are just 1% behind Labour.

"Many of my friends who are traditional conservative supporters are voting Liberal Democrat this time as the best way of actually beating Labour in this seat. In areas of the constituency there is no Conservative Party organisation - parts of Kilburn, Fortune Green, West Hampstead, Highgate and Gospel Oak - we are the only party fighting this election across the whole of the constituency.

"At the last General Election there was a huge swing from Labour to the Liberal Democrats - the Conservative share of the vote actually went down. The Conservative Party know that they cannot win this time - that's why three of their councillors have gone off and been selected for other seats - they know they don't have a chance of winning round here.

"A vote for me and the Liberal Democrats will make a real difference and could be the winning vote."
